Now you can advertise on Fort Myers Poker
Part of our recent overhaul of the site was to add the ability for our readers and advertisers to be able to advertise on our blog.
We have just added two places you can advertise. The first one is the 125 x 125 banners in the column on the right hand side of the page. Just click on the “Advertise Here” in an empty box and you will be taken to the advertisement order page. The ads will rotate positions in the 6 blocks, but there will always only be 6 ads sold so your ad will be visible to every visitor. You will be required to host your banner on another site. If you need us to host your banner please contact us and we will try to work something out.
The second place to advertise is in the “Recommended Sites” box in the column on the left hand side of the page. These are less expensive than the banner ads and faster to set up. Again, all you have to do is click on the “Advertise Here” for more information. We have placed the links in what most people consider to be the “Hot Zone”, above the fold and on the left where most people begin reading.
Both advertisements can be ordered immediately using PayPal. We are considering offering more advertising spaces in the future. Please check back for more information or subscribe to our newsletter.
Rent Over 80 Poker Videos at BlockBuster.com
I have been a BlockBuster.com member for over a year now, and it’s great for movies. They are always in stock and I can return them directly to my local store and receive another FREE rental right there in the store. The free rental doesn’t even count against the amount I’m allowed to check out online.
Anyway, I was looking for an old poker movie so I typed in Poker in the blockbuster search form and it came back with over 80 titles. I started scanning through them and was amazed at the amount of videos they had. I’ve never seen any of these at my local stores.
There were 4 or 5 Phil Helmuth videos, a bunch of Annie Duke videos, lots of World Poker Tour Videos and dozens more instructional videos that I had only before seen on TV commercials. Some of the titles were for actual movies like Rounders, The Stu Ungar Story and other movies that involved poker.
You should join for a few months just to check out all these poker videos. When you do you’ll see how great the overall service is and I’ll bet you keep using it. Click on the banner below to check it out:
Yes, You Can Play Online Poker In Fort Myers
We have received requests from people wanting to know if there is a place that will allow people in Fort Myers to play poker online.
We have found 2 places that still accept players from the United States, which of course includes Fort Myers. They are PokerStars.com and FullTiltPoker.com. The laws passed years ago have made it harder for players to get money into their accounts at online poker places, but it is still possible. We used to play at PartyPoker.com all the time and we used NetTeller, PayPal and credit cards to fund our accounts when we needed to. ParyPoker still does not accept US players and NetTeller and PayPal no longer allow payments to online poker sites to fund your account. There are still ways to do it, mainly wire transfers, but you need to visit each site and see the options they provide and determine which one works the best for your situation. We’ve added banners near the top of the site to make it easier for you to visit the sites, or you can click these links for PokerStars.com or FullTiltPoker.com.
We will try to keep the site updated as we find more places or hear news about places that we have already recommended. Be sure to join our newsletter to receive updated information as we receive it. If you have information that you would like us to put in the newsletter please send it to us at info@fortmyerspoker.com.
